2021 is drawing to a close and we can probably all agree there's definitely room for improvement in 2022! Based on the experiences from 2020, and the home office routine, it's safe to say we've long been dearly missing the one thing that makes our company so special: the team (spirit)! Chats and videocalls just can't compare to the real thing. It took until summer for us to return to a somewhat normal office life, with jokes in the hallways and chitchats over a cup of joe. Slowly but steadily, our //CRASH building fully came back to life! |  | | The work never ends, and the workload got a lot bigger in 2021, so it was once again time to expand our team. It didn't take long for our newcomers to settle in, and we quickly realized we had not only brought in new expertise but genuinely nice people that fit our team like a glove. Together, we're en route to building our "home of software". These are some of the new guys and gals in 2021: |  | Naturally, planning for 2022 has already been completed–though we traditionally like to leave a little room for spontaneous projects. As always, there'll be new versions of our classics, including WinOptimizer, Backup Pro, and Burning Studio. There will also be a return of two dearly missed product lines: Photo Optimizer and Photo Commander! By now, you should have already heard plenty about Ashampoo Connect, our future multi-platform distribution platform, aka "The home of your software". You can already use it today to buy, unlock and update your software, but there's a lot more coming. Make sure to check it out!
We're exceptionally grateful we've made it through this difficult year with a healthy team–and healthy figures. In 2021, you once again showed great interest in our softrware and remained our loyal customers–no small feat in these fast-paced times. We've now been living the dream of "software made in Germany" for 22 years and we have you, our fans across the globe, to thank for that. We promise we'll continue to provide you with high-quality software at fair prices in 2022! |  | As a little finale, we've come up with a special donation sale. Only today can you get our software highlights at a New Year's discount, and we'll donate 10% of the profits to Oldenburger Kinderlachen e.V. That's a local charity that organizes trips and projects for children from various social and cultural backgrounds with the goal of bridging gaps and providing a little bit of jauntiness and freedom of exploration.
